Video Game Competition
The “eSport event” group is organizing a video game tournament. Players will be placed in a circle around the circumference of the room, with spectators in the centre on swivel seats.
The room is round. Near the line that defines the circle, there is a dotted line that marks the inner circumference of the circle. Under each dot of the dotted line, there is a dark blue dot. In the center of the circle, there is a square with the letter « A ». Orange dots are arranged in four groups, each of which is identical to the others. In each group, there are: 5 rows of dots. The number of dots per row is: 3 dots, 4 dots, 5 dots, 6 dots, 7 dots. A legend accompanies the figure. The dark blue dots and the dash represent the screen and player. - Which venue would you recommend to organizers?
- How many spectators could there be?
- What profits can organizers anticipate?
Reflection
- How can the feedback provided to students throughout and after this activity be personalized to maximize their learning and understanding of the studied concepts?
- How can I formulate questions that prompt students to think deeply and engage in enriching discussions?
